Eight years after Karl Chevrolet opened its doors in 1927, the Carryall Suburban came rolling into town in 1935. It was one of the first all-metal bodied vehicles available. Who knew that 9 generations of the vehicle later and a few more generations of Karls’ and the Chevrolet Suburban would become the vehicle we are known for selling all throughout Fairfield County Connecticut.
Now in 2021, The Chevrolet Suburban has been totally redesigned with not just new styling but superior interior upgrades as well. After the last generation Suburban, we weren’t exactly sure how Chevrolet would be able to one-up themselves with this newer model Suburban…
But they did!
And we could not be more excited about it. How do you take the largest-family-sized SUV and make it even better? Well, you start by offering SIX trim levels. Starting with the “entry-level” LS trim. Though there are very few things that are actually “entry-level,” you get standard features like a 10-speed automatic transmission and Premium Smooth Ride Suspension to help make getting to your destination comfortable.
The LT trim which is the next level up takes the LS and adds extra amenities like a Bose 9-speaker sound system, wireless charging, and a hands-free programmable power liftgate.
From there, you get into the RST and Z71 trim levels. If the LS and LT are more of the mainstream, run-of-the-mill Suburbans, these next two trims levels are the bad boys of the lineup with design features and upgrades that give them an edgier look. For example, the RST comes with 22-inch high-gloss black-painted wheels along with a jet black interior with contrasting red stitching throughout. The z71 is made more for those who like to do a little rough and rugged road or off-road driving thanks to its available four-corner air ride adaptive suspension.
If the RST and Z71 are the “bad-boys” of the six available trims on the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, the next two; Premier and High Country are made for luxury.
Premier gives you both safety and comfort thanks to lane change alert w/ side blind zone alert & front/ rear park assist. Add to that magnetic ride control and a standard Bose audio system with 10 speakers and you and your family get to your destination safely and comfortably.
Speaking of comfort, Chevrolet really focused on the interior comfort of the new 2021 Suburban. In fact, it offers best-in-class legroom in the second row of seating AND the third row was totally redesigned to offer a more comfortable chair height with more legroom to boast as well.
Upfront, you’ll find the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is loaded with today’s top connected and safety tech. 4G LTE Wi-Fi is available along with the new rear seat media system offering dual 12.6 in LCD touch screens to help keep your passengers entertained for hours. For the driver and first passenger, you get a 10.2 inch Chevrolet infotainment 3 system with an available 15-inch heads-up display.
The Chevrolet Suburban has always been a favorite at Karl Chevrolet. Come take one for a test drive today.
