KARL Chevrolet invites you to join the Westport Electric Car Club’s first ever EV Road Rally on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10am to 1pm. This 1st Annual Event will be fun, exciting and informative.
The Rally begins with registration from 9am-10am at the Westport Eastbound Metro North Train Station just off I-95 Exit 17. The Road Rally will head out at 10am and finish back at the train station with food and music at 1pm. The total drive will be a scenic 40 miles with a stop at the Fairfield Green Festival along the way. Details below….
The Westport EV Club is asking for a $50 registration fee per vehicle to help fund future club events. But KARL Chevrolet does not want the registration fee to stop any of our friends from participating….. so if you have the time and would like to participate, please let us know and we will cover your registration fee.

We’ll even share some tips on ways you can extend your EV driving range.
One of our goals will be to help educate current EV drivers about where current EV charging stations are located around Fairfield County. We hope to have owners share their secrets…. as well as share current resources and apps that are available. On a positive note, Leo Karl was in Hartford this week meeting with CT DEEP Commissioner Dan Esty to discuss deploying a robust Connecticut based app that will show all available EV charging stations. In addition, other state policies were discussed to help promote an EV friendly environment here in Connecticut.
